Description:

Flood-It is a widely recognized computer game enjoyed by millions across various platforms. Its engaging gameplay offers a compelling way to pass the time during brief intervals, while also fostering strategic thinking skills. The primary objective is to transform an entire board of differently colored cells into a uniform color within a limited number of moves.

The game begins in the top-left corner, where the initial Flooding Color corresponds to the color of that cell. All adjacent cells sharing this color are automatically included in the flood area. When a player selects a different color using the provided buttons, all neighboring cells of the current Flooding Color with the chosen color are incorporated into the flood zone. For example, if the Flooding Color is blue and the surrounding cells are mostly yellow, selecting yellow will convert all adjacent blue and yellow cells into yellow, thereby expanding the flooded area.

The process continues as players strategically choose new colors to gradually encompass the entire board. The challenge lies in completing this transformation within the maximum permitted number of steps. Successful completion allows progression to subsequent levels.

While intuitive to learn, Flood-It presents a nuanced challenge that requires careful planning. Its addictive nature stems from the satisfying sense of progression and mastery it offers, making it difficult to put down once started.
